The Unbearable Lightness of Being

I may be biased. It’s not often an author feels the need to include an excerpt of actual musical score in their work – but Milan Kundera did (yes, I’m a musician: check my blog). This tale of a half-dozen Czechs in a worn torn country will make life a lot harder and far easier for you.

I could not do justice to this pithy plot, nor it’s complex characters. In fact, all I can really tell you is that the book is worth reading simply to witness the life of Karenin the dog in order to weep at his death. But it’s so much more!

Please read this book, or find a decent synopsis. You won’t regret it.
